Cookie Policy
Last Updated: March 12, 2026
This Cookie Policy supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data more broadly. It explains what cookies and similar technologies are, how MARKET-IN Yoga Studio uses them on this website, and how you can manage your choices.
1) What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They are widely used to enable core website functions (for example, keeping your session active), to help website owners understand how the site is used, and to support advertising measurement.
In addition to cookies, some partners use pixel tags (sometimes called tracking pixels) and similar scripts that can record events such as page views, form submissions, or button clicks. Some measurement can also occur server-side, where event data is sent from our server to a partner under strict controls. These technologies are commonly used for analytics and advertising attribution.
2) Cookie lifespans and origins
Cookies can be:
- Session cookies: deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies: remain on your device for a defined period or until you delete them.
Cookies can also be:
- First-party cookies: set by this website (controlled by MARKET-IN SAS).
- Third-party cookies: set by external providers (for example, analytics and advertising partners) when their tools are enabled.
3) Cookie categories we use
We use three categories of cookies, aligned with common regulatory guidance in France and the EEA. Essential cookies are always active because the site cannot function correctly without them. Analytics and marketing cookies activate only if you give consent via our cookie banner or preferences modal.
A) Essential cookies (always on)
Essential cookies are required to operate the website and to provide basic features. They are used for things like remembering your consent selection, maintaining secure session continuity, and protecting forms. Because they are strictly necessary, they do not require opt-in consent.
B) Analytics cookies (consent required)
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use our pages so we can improve layout, content clarity, and performance. When enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) configured to reduce data where possible (for example, limiting retention). Analytics data is used in aggregate to answer practical questions such as which pages are most useful before someone requests a class recommendation.
Analytics cookies are optional. If you reject non-essential cookies, the site will still work normally.
C) Marketing cookies (consent required)
Marketing cookies support advertising measurement and help show relevant ads to people who have visited our site, for example by building remarketing audiences. They can also help attribute conversions (such as a completed contact form) to a campaign. We may use tools provided by Google Ads and Meta Platforms to measure the effectiveness of ads and to limit repeated exposure.
Marketing cookies are optional. You can still request classes and contact us without enabling marketing cookies.
4) Cookie table
The table below lists the cookies typically associated with these categories. Some cookies may only appear if the related feature is enabled and used in your browser session.
| Name | Purpose | Category | Type | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _site_session | Site session continuity | Essential | First-party | Session |
| cookie_consent | Stores your consent choice | Essential | First-party | 12 months |
| _ga | GA4 user identifier | Analytics | Third-party | 2 years |
| _ga_XXXXXXXXXX | GA4 session state (10-char GA4 ID) | Analytics | Third-party | 2 years |
| _gcl_au | Google Ads conversion linker | Marketing | Third-party | 90 days |
| _fbp | Meta Pixel browser identifier | Marketing | Third-party | 90 days |
| _fbc | Meta Pixel click identifier | Marketing | Third-party | 90 days |
5) Third-party providers
Depending on your consent choices, we may use services from the following providers:
- Google LLC (Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager) for analytics and advertising measurement.
- Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel and related measurement) for advertising measurement and audience building.
- Cloudflare for site performance and security (for example, mitigating abusive traffic).
We do not permit these providers to use site data for their own independent commercial purposes. They process data on our instructions and under their own terms and policies, which may change over time.
6) How to manage your cookie preferences
You can manage cookie categories at any time by using the āManage cookie preferencesā link in the footer, which opens our consent controls. Your choice is saved in the cookie_consent cookie for up to 12 months unless you clear cookies sooner.
You can also control cookies using browser settings. Most browsers let you delete existing cookies and block future cookies. If you block all cookies, some site features may not function as intended (especially essential functions).
Additional opt-out tools that may be relevant:
- Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
- Google Ads Settings
- Meta Ad Preferences
- Your Online Choices (EU)
7) Updates to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, legal requirements in France and the EEA, or updates to our website features. The āLast Updatedā date at the top indicates when this page was last revised.
